CrossFit Fairbanks' Frame Work program encourages all ages to come be apart of our wonderful community. It can be broken into three categories: exercise, community, and a growth based mindset. From these three areas we provide our members with skills and mindset to enter the regular group classes in a safe and enjoyable manner. The regular group class is designed to challenge your limits in a group atmosphere and continue your understanding of human performance, nutrition, and what it means to be fit. The CrossFit Fairbanks Frame Work Program establishes the base upon which you will build throughout your time doing CrossFit. It accomplishes this by instilling in each athlete the most mechanically efficient, and therefore, safest way to move.

We strive to bring members in and get them familiarized with every aspect they need to know about CrossFit. The Frame Work program is one of the best in Alaska! Our Regional Athlete/Co-Owner/Head Coach Samantha Tolbert runs this class and has 9+ years of experience coaching. Samantha will take each individual through the 9 foundational movements of CrossFit and as stated above will teach you how to safely and efficiently move. If you cannot do the movements, EVERYTHING we do here can be modified and scaled to each individual.

By definition, CrossFit is constantly varied, functional movements performed with high intensity. Constantly varied means we incorporate a number of different types of elements to get a full body workout. Elements ranging from your cardio respiratory endurance, stamina, flexibility, strength, balance, power, speed, coordination, agility and accuracy. Functional movements means, every movement learned and performed at CrossFit Fairbanks will transfer into your daily life (inside AND outside of our facility). Our highly trained coaches will help you over time find where your high intensity threshhold is and help you get a safe, effecient and effective workout! CrossFit workouts will not only give you the strength and energy to do daily tasks, but also in becoming a better all around athlete.

CrossFit Fairbanks is well known for focusing on our athlete's form and technique over intensity. Our program ranges from technical and basic strength movements to various traditional CrossFit movements. You will learn all of this in our FrameWorks class and with our coaches as they go over our workouts during class. When working all of these movements, you will receive a great full body workout that changes daily to help fit your basic workout needs. Everything we offer here can be scaled and our staff is knowledgeable in each of the movements to guide you to success in accomplishing something you have never been able to achieve before!

Our CrossFit program includes:
Olympic Weightlifting (Snatch and Clean & Jerk)
Powerlifting (Squat, Bench, Deadlift)
Cardio (sprinting, running, rowing, intervals, keeping heart rate up, and more)
Gymnastics (Agility & Coordination work to include Pull-ups, Chin-ups, Muscle-ups, and more)
Plyometrics (Maximum force in short intervals of time to increase Power to include Quick footwork, Box Jumps and much more)
Calisthenics (Static holds, smooth transitions into movements, rhythmic performance to help increase your body weight Strength)
Core and Posterior Chain strengthening
Etc. (everything in between :) )

CrossFit Fairbanks has space for everyone. We have a designated area for members to come in and work out on their own during class times, and the whole gym during Open Gym hours.
