Saturday WOD at West Valley Track

This Saturday we will have our class at the West Valley Track. It will still be at the normal time of 11 a.m.

When you pull in the track is to the right and there is a parking lot right beside it. If you are still unsure or have questions give us a call at 750-6074 or ask while at the gym. If you have a friend you would like to bring, go ahead. Or if you would like to come workout with our group, feel free. There won’t be anything technical so anyone can jump in.

Pull Up Challenge

Throughout this week we are going to have a pull-up challenge. The goal is to see who can have the most pull ups completed by the end of the week. You don’t have to do them at the gym. Anywhere you could possibly do a pull up is fine. Be creative.
*We will use the honor system with this.
*They must be STRICT Pull Ups
*Pull Ups from Workout of the Day do not count.
I’ll dedicate one of the marker boards for this. When you come in just write your name and keep a tally of the pull ups you complete throughout the week. We’ll announce a winner Friday evening.

SATURDAY TRAIL RUN

This Saturday our Workout of the Day will be a trail run starting at ballaine lake. It is located off of Farmer’s Loop. If you were to head from University and follow it to where it turns to Farmer’s Loop, you will see if on your left not far up the road. There is a small dirt parking lot beside the lake. We will be starting our run there.
I can’t find an exact address for it, but I’ve inserted a picture of google maps with a circle and x for the meeting place. If you are still unsure, you can ask at the gym or give me a call at 750-6074.

Army Functional Fitness Course

CrossFit Fairbanks will be proudly hosting a Functional Fitness Seminar for 5-1 CAV from FT. Wainwright this week. This 4 day course will be held from Tuesday July 13 through Friday July 16.
We will be canceling our 9:30am class for the seminar, so please join us for our noon and/or evening classes as they will not be affected during those days.
