What is it?

At CrossFit Fairbanks, we offer the most comprehensive Strength and Conditioning program in Alaska. With proven methods and expert coaching we guarantee to make you stronger, faster, more athletic, and make you look good naked.

Do not expect a typical gym membership when you walk through our door. Most fitness facilities have long term contracts, fill their space with useless machines, keep a staff of unskilled minimum wage employees, an endless supply supplements that you "NEED" to buy for success, all the while guaranteeing mediocrity at best. A high school student with a summer job can show anyone how to turn on a treadmill or adjust the weight on a leg extension machine. It's much easier, and more profitable to operate this way. Lucky for you, we do NOT follow this model.

Your membership here is not just for access to come in and use our equipment. You will be coached in a structured training program that WILL take you to the next level. We use methods that have been proven by world class coaches and athletes. The most desirable physiques are those of high level athletes, yet they do not train for aesthetics, they train to excel at their sport. Your needs and the Olympic athlete’s differ by degree not kind. Increased power, strength, cardiovascular
and respiratory endurance, flexibility, stamina, coordination, agility, balance, and coordination are each important to the world’s best athletes and to our grandparents.

The beauty of our program is that it can be scalable to ANYONE'S ability level. Our classes can range from 15 year old hockey players, 65 year old women, division 1 & 2 collegiate athletes, the overweight, marathon runners, military service members, etc. etc. Our bodies are all designed to do the same functional movements. By varying loads, intensity, and duration, we ensure improvements in all participants.

Here's the way we see it, you have probably been doing the same workouts for years, right? Why not spend a month trying something new, if we can't convince you that it is the best fitness program on Earth, cancel.

Getting started at CrossFit Fairbanks is easy. We make it simple to get into an exciting and intense CrossFit regimen to best suit your fitness needs!

Our mission is to provide you with a course to follow that will allow you to achieve your individual fitness goals, whatever they may be. We cater to people of all shapes, sizes, ages, and ability levels. If you are just looking to lose some inches, get brutally strong, improve your run time, or prepare for a sport– we have a program for you.

Are you a little intimidated by the WODs(Workout of the Day)? DON’T BE! Our workouts are completely scalable to anyone’s ability level, in fact we highly encourage scaling for new attendees. Michael Jordan wasn’t dunking basketballs from the free throw line from Day 1, so why would we expect you to?

We like to think of our gym as a school of fitness. Like any new school, the first step is to come meet the staff and tour the facility. We welcome you to come and observe any of our scheduled classes first hand. You will quickly realize you are not signing up for a typical gym membership, you are signing up for a highly effective training program that will take you far passed what you thought was the next level.

We use our intro session to get you acquainted with the fundamental movements and concepts of our training program.
