CrossFit Fairbanks has outgrown the current location, and has moved to a 2400 sq ft facility!

That is not the only good news I have for new and potential members.  There are now many different available class times that will work with anyone’s schedule.  Also a fundamental class for beginner’s will be held 3 days a week so that newcomer’s can get all the attention deserved and the guys and gals that have been coming don’t have to spend valuable training time relearning what they are already proficient at!

The CrossFit Fairbanks’ men’s and women’s shirts should be available for purchase Monday or Tuesday.  The people at lifeasrx.com have really come through during a busy time and are having them rush delivered so that our members traveling to Anchorage for next week’s CrossFit Games sectional will be able to represent.

But wait, there’s more…we will be hosting a FREE 4-WEEK BOOTCAMP in April.  8 seats will be randomly drawn from entries put in at the local Subway restaurants.  The entry boxes will be available Monday, so go enter to win!

I really like getting the photos showing each frame of movements as a theme for updates as of late.  I saw Jeff Martone do this at a Kettlebell certification with one of the girls from the class.  I was able to do it with my mom about a year ago, but didn’t get any pictures [...]

I really like getting the photos showing each frame of movements as a theme for updates as of late.  I saw Jeff Martone do this at a Kettlebell certification with one of the girls from the class.  I was able to do it with my mom about a year ago, but didn’t get any pictures of it.  Here is me demoing it with Jesse the other night.  It is hard to work up to doing it with an adult, but it’s fun to try if you have kids, generally in the 5-8 age range. (USE A SPOTTER!)

Max height box jump
Oly lift practice
WOD:
Perform 3 Power Snatches and 7 Pull-Ups every minute on the minute for 10 minutes.
*Weight for Power Snatch is 135lbs for men, 95lbs for women
*For every rep not completed there is a 5 Burpee penalty.  Pay up after workout.
Post height for max box jump and how many consecutive rounds completed, [...]
