I’m not going to punish Rachel or Chris or Ed for what happened with Keith when I like their shows. But I think whatever did happen last Friday with Keith: was he fired or did he quit unexpectedly? I think if Keith upped and left abruptly, it was very unprofessional of him and has hurt a lot of people at MSNBC, including some his colleagues like Rachel who may lose some of their audience because of it. If, OTOH, MSNBC abruptly fired him, then it appears they’ve shot themselves in the foot because a lot of KO fans are alienated and talking about jumping ship. So either way, this was handled badly.
